Sounds like a Bullet Bass to me....
Fender made a bass they called the Bullet Bass back in the early 80s, much like their Bullet guitar. It had a Tele bass neck, a non-contoured Precision-like body, and those little Mustang Bass pickups.
Actually pretty cool basses, I almost bought one right before Tom G. sold me his Tokai!
