Mosul my goodness, actually my moms grandfather was a military official for Ottoman Empire there :) They had to leave after the WWI. My family lived in Istanbul generally (several centuries) but the military personnel had to relocate a lot. But I live in the USA for 10 years now, starting my own legacy
