I ended up getting the cmatmods Deluxe Signa Comp - which I understand is based on the original dyna comp. My taste is such that I intensely dislike the Boss CS2, and this pedal is very different. It changes the tone a lot, but it still sounds very natural. I pretty much have the pedal on the whole time, I really like what it does for the dynamics and my playing.
