I think they sound just fine, although I've yet to gig the amp. It's also hard to say how different the speakers are since the amp is generally sounding soooo much better - some components replaced, re-bias, some dry joints fixed and so on. It's brighter, much louder, and the background noise / hiss is a fraction of what it was before, so it was well worth the service. Had a close look at the old stock speakers - boy, did they look tired!

Prior to the amp being seviced some folks had said some quite nice things about it, I liked it, but felt a service was in order. I had to laugh though, when I read the engineer's report on the invoice - in the box that read "Fault" he'd simply put... "Sounds bad!". :-)

I'll see how we go with the Eminences for a while, even though I was pretty set on Webers.
