Here's a good contradiction: I used to work in a bigger house with a $1 million installed system and a teeny little mic collection. We were always having to rent stuff. Here, we've got speakers on sticks, and more quality mics than we can use.
Beta 87s, A and C models. We only really use the Cs:
Beta 58s, SM58s, SM57s, and some AKG 451s. Some are out on location.
AT 4033s, and AKG 414s. We've got a bunch more 414s, and a couple more 4033s that are installed as audience response mics.
More 414s (these are '70s vintage), Sennheiser 421s, and SM81s. Again, some are out.
