I've always been used to sleeping with a sheet and light blanket on, even on our cold canadian winter nights.
When I moved in with my gf a year ago, I realized she has a thick comforter, an electric blanket and two large dogs that like to curl up in bed with us. A common occurence is me waking up in a sweat in the middle of the night, with her body against mine, and the dogs filling every available space on either side of us. And if I get up, the dogs will have taken my spot in bed and pretend to be asleep so as not to be moved.
Who needs a duvet when you have a built-in sauna?
