The very first concert I went to was in 1964 or 1965 was to see Brenda Lee in Natchitoches Louisiana. I was just a plain ole simple 11 or 12 year old and got to go to a concert like that with the biggest plus being that she sang sweet nothin's and wanted someone from the audience to come up on stage with her while she sang it to them and I was the one picked, I almost peed in my pants, got to hold her hand and get a pic with her and autograph and everything, and I thought I was in Heaven. It was great and I have listened to Brenda ever since then.
