I'm suddenly reminded of an old Three Stooges film, in which not only were they actors in a play, they also had to prepare the cake that was to be eaten onstage. One of the cake layers was accidentally substituted with a chair cushion, and hilarity ensued...

Moe: "Miss Janie Bell, what do you all call this delicious cake?"
Janie Bell: "I calls it Old Pointe Comfort."
Moe (aside to Shemp): "Old Pointe Comfort? Tastes more like an old comforter!"
