theres no rocket science in building cabs
i mean some go on and on about size etc but basic rule of thumb:
make it as big as you want to carry [bigger cab gives bigger sound]
use pine or other resonant timber
use decent ply for baffle 1/2"
use finger joints or through dovetail or you will have to hang it off a frame

the decision is open or closed back

open back is more 3d natural sound and good on stage
close back is punchy and directional
