My 15 tear old daughter delt with a call, from India of course, in such a beautiful way - I was proud: It went something like this:
(Caller was from a phone company trying to sell us a cell phone and plan)
Daughter: (very excitedly!) What, we've won a car!!! WOW - Hey dad, we won a car. What colour is it?
Caller: No, no. I said VirginBlue (local phone company.)
Daughter: It's blue? Can we get it in red?
Caller: No, no. It's a phone.
Daughter: It has a phone as well? WOW. But can we get a red one?
(This went on, and on, and on, for about 10 minutes - my ex and I were crying with laughter.)
(finally)
Daughter: What is it? A holiday?! WOW! Hey dad, we won a holiday!
Caller: Yes, you won a holiday. To Paris. Do you like Paris? . . . (and hung up.)
That had to be one expensive phone call ! (and no sale!)
