Well I just got a DMM & its fantastic....like really really amazing.
the reason why I love it so much though is because of the vibrato as well as the delay combined....very dreamy.

here's the kicker though, the firstact delay I have sounds VERY similar if I have the vibrato/chorus turned down/off.

it all depends, I was after a DMM for many many years & have spent alot of money on other delays "in the meantime" I think it would have been cheaper to just get it to begin with.
anyhow, if modulated delays are not what you are dreaming of - then I'd recommend the firstact delay without hesitation.
