i play one tele the whole gig, and have another as a spare. but from time to time i change the "player" and the "spare" tele, for the have deserved to be played both. i change strings before every gig, so i´m not familiar with string break. the spare is for serious accidents and stays stored in the case aside.
i don´t have a nr. 1 guitar - i really can´t make up my mind, which one i prefer.....
but i never ever had a problem with the tele - but wait ! i once lost the switch hat due to heavy action on stage...if that counts..?
