I'll bring 2 to mix things up, but I can live with my Esquire alone.

Break a string? Very quick fix if you have a winder/cutter and pack of strings close.
I always do.

Metallica, Floyd, Amy Winehouse, Pretenders, Aerosmith, Zappa, Beatles & Zep...all at the same gig with my trusty Esquire, Korg G3 and Peavey Transtube.
