What lacquer are the bodies if not nitro?
Fender Highway One Series Telecaster Electric Guitar Features:
- Alder body (Satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish)
- Rosewood or maple modern C-shaped neck (Satin polyurethane finish)
- 9.5" fretboard radius
- 22 jumbo frets
- '70s styling
- Greasebucket tone circuit
- Upgraded hot alnico 3 single-coil pickups voiced for more modern distortion-friendly tones

I can only speak for the 'upgrade' ones as I have a 07. I can say the poly under the satin Nitro is also thinner than the thin skins, and buffs to a decent gloss if one desires put in a little work.
