New strings and a good setup.
Better yet - replace the tuners. Replace the pickups. New strings, a good setup, and yer good to go for stage or studio.
Wanna do more? All new electronics (pots, switch, jack), rewire with neck volume blender, flip the PVC nut for one of Corian, micarta or bone.
