Chris - your setup sounds great - and better than what I was looking for initially. I'd love to try that out. Could you post a diagram or description, or if you prefer, PM me?
BTW, when I mentioned "Position 2: Neck (parallel) + Bridge" I meant that the two coils of the HB were parallel with each other, AND the HB was parallel with the bridge. Sorry for the confusion. But again, your 5 way set up sounds like a better, more versatile option.
