I saw Badfinger live in 1971, they opened for Lee Michaels at a show in San Jose, Ca. My group of buddies were all Beatles fans and therefore Badfinger fans. They were a real tight band, and put on a great show. It is sad what happened to them, but there were a thousand other bands at that time that shared their fate.
My Mom used to work with a guy from Question Mark and the Mysterians who had a hit with "96 Tears". They still get together and perform every now and then, but they all work regular jobs now. At that time, one hit record didn't net you much.
