Dave is correct. The B&D ones have never worked all that well for me, but if you google "screw starters", you'll find much better ones at very good prices. Invaluable for places you can't reach with fingertips. Though I've found just a bit of electrical tape wrapped around both the screw and the driver tip will get me there as well. The last one I used had two finger like prongs that held screw to either a flat tip or phillips tip for more stability. I liked that one.
