Well, my parts came in today from GFS (White Single-Ply Esquire Pickguard, Lil Puncher Bridge Pickup, and new caps and pots). Looks like I have a project for the weekend -- turning my Xaviere Surf Green Tele into a Surf Green Esquire!
I decided on the 15k (7.5k single coil) Lil Puncher humbucker for the bridge and to run the switch this way (coils parallel, single coil, coils series). I think I might even reverse the control plate -- but I'm not sure about that yet.
Your thoughts -- not only on the build but also the way I'm wiring it and the possible reversal of the control plate?
