SLIME MOLDS!!!!
I'll tell you about some slime molds! It was on a night just like this. Back about '87. My brother and I were walking through the woods on the way to the still. He said he knew a shortcut.
"Take the Buechel Hill cutoff." he said.
The fool!
The blind, ignorant, lazy fool!
That was the last thing he ever said.
Up on a rock.
Down the backside.
He stepped on a slime mold.
Poor thing (the slime mold) probably hadn't fed in a month or more.
That was the end of Beasley.
