Here is my studio. And I use that in the most basic sense.

Going from left to right. Line 6 UX2 Tone Port (as the I/O), Maxtor 300GB Hard Drive. Right of the monitor is the ZOOM HD16 which I use as a DAW controller as well as a standalone recording unit. My meager rack has a Nady Power Conditioner and a Behringer Tube Ultrgain Mic Pre. I use a Behringer HA400 micro headphone amp. Using Cubase LE for the DAW. The near fields are Sansom Rubican R5a active monitors. It has taken my a few years to amass the equipment and I am still trying to make the studio ergonomically correct as possible.

In case your wondering that is one of those desks you use to use in Biology class back in High School. There are holes for the gas lines of bunson burners which are great to snake cable through. The slots also make for handy storage of manuals, program discs, sandwiches.

Thats an Eastwood Mandocaster leaning under the SFTR. The guitars in the rack from closest: Gretsch 6120/59 Chet Atkins, 52RI Tele with Hipshot B-Bender, early 90's Fender Stratocaster, Taylor T5 electric/acoustic, Dipinto K & A short scale bass.
