Well the pink one didn't turn out well after all. The grain pattern doesn't show well enough to make up for the flaws in the wood that do show, so Maddy's tele well be a solid pink. The green dye process worked exceptionally well however.
I don't know if it's because of a different formulation in the plastic, or what, but I can say that the black binding was
much harder to apply than the white was.
I have a pickguard, an Allparts 22 fret neck, a set of pickups and a Gotoh bridge on hand so I'm going to start fitting parts and drilling holes next; Then I can start the finishing job.
Building two at a time like this is pretty interesting, because you can run the job kind of like an assembly line.
