After sanding all the Minwax goop off the top of the guitar body, I mixed up a batch of Scarlet wood dye in hot water and squirted a large dollop of MIXOL Oxide White Universal Tint into it and mixed thoroughly. Viola! Hot pink wood die! And it has done a fantastic job of dyeing the top. Once I get it cleaned up and locked with some lacquer, I'll provide some pictures of the two tops. The green one looks excellent and it appears the pink one will to.
