Why bother responding if you don't know what you're talking about? Guess Jerry Donahue doesn't know anything about guitars.

USA Peaveys are on par with Anderson or many other boutique builders. And a lot less money. The only reason I don't own more Peavey guitars is because, with the exception of the JD Omniac (which has that awful hard V neck that the JD Teles had) they don't make anything with a 7-1/4" fretboard radius.

Let's have the full model designation. Is that a Hartley Peavey Signature? Is it a USA model, an EXP, or an EX?

If it's a USA model, you're holding a Les Paul killer and you just stole that thing. Peavey really knows how to wind a PAF-type pickup.

If it's an EXP, it has the same pickups in a different cover. The wood will be plainer, but the fretwork is still good. New, they are about $700. They are made in Korea. They are as good as anything coming out of Gibson for twice the price. They are almost as good as the USA model for less than half the price.

If it's an EX, well, then it's hit or miss. Quality is still good, but you're talking about a $400 or less guitar new, and the wood isn't as nice as the EXP. I don't think the pickups are the same, either. Anyhow, of the ones I've played they need a bit of fret dressing and they just don't sound as good as the rest of the line.
Played plenty of Peavey's in my time....my first guitar was a T-60....(not in the same league as this one, to be sure)

I also own a JD Tele....

He asked what its WORTH....Its relative WORTH is measured by market demands...its not WORTH a whole lot, but as I ALREADY SAID....

If it plays well and you like how it sounds...keep it...if not, its only gonna be a down-payment on most tele's....that's just what it is.....
