Dear Marty,
You are making some serious memories here. Your gift is truly inspired and inspirational. It is a genuine act of love for the recipiant, for the craft and art of guitar making, and for the music that it wil bring into the hearts of many people, both those here today and some yet to be born.
Just one suggestion, you might request of the family that this instrument is to be played, not hung up over the mantle, and it should be passed down to one who will play it. I know that is their business, but you might add another decal that says, "This instrument was made to be played!"
God bless you, and the music makers in your community, as their example led you to this great act of creation.
