I was chatting to a couple of folk at the local blues club last night and someone mentioned this band and that they had an old cassette of them from the 70's that they wanted to transfer onto CD.

I'd forgotten all about them. I also had a cassette of one of their albums that I used to play all the time and loved it. Jackie Blue, It'll Shine When It Shines, Keep On Churnin'.....

I did a search on Limewire and found quite a few of these songs there. Gosh, they were good. I also found a song that is supposed to be the Daredevils but it sounds a lot like Loudon Wainwright III - I know he wrote it - Dead Skunk In The Middle of the Road. Did the Daredevils record this as well? It's brilliant!!

Anyone know if they're still going?
