Some more work done last night and today.
The body for the green one assembled and trim routed. Lots of hand sanding to do then route the "f" hole and PUs. Given the materials, it's heavier than I expected at 4.5 lbs. I imagine at least part of that is due to the extra 1/4 inch thickness.
The pink one is getting it's bottom glued on.
I had an interesting thought. Given the composite construction, if they end up sounding really good, where does the "tone" come from?
A question: Does anyone have a template that shows the control cavity route for this kind of thinline? I'd appreciate anything that can be provided.
