I'm waiting for the lacquer to cure on my twelve string, so I've started my next build project; a pair of Thinlines for myself and my niece.

Here's the first picture of the various body parts.

The bodies are a composite design, laminated pine table tops for the center sections, Baltic birch voidless plywood (3/8") for the bottoms, and 1/4" book matched flame maple for the tops. The center sections are 1 3/8" thick to give the bodies a full 2" when assembled. Both will be double bound with bound F holes. My mock ups follow.
