That is sooooo true !!, but the only
other people who don't realise the fact is Americans themselves.
I was used to tiny little old England before my first trip and just seeing DFW was pretty mindblowing - an airport bigger than my town ?, whoa !!
Thing is, Americans
are used to how large it all is but will never really put that into context until they come to somewhere like the UK and see the size of this place or some of the other European countries.
I often played in a hotel in Zurich, Switzerland and we would finish by driving through Switzerland, Germany and Belgium, cross the channel on a Ferry and back to the UK all in one non-stop trip. 4 countries
sounds a lot but it wasn't so bad and quite possible when you are young and stupid.
