I just keep a leatherman multitool handy (and a set of allen keys in my guitar kit) The biggest problem for me is that any allen keys that come in the fold up sets never have the .050 I need for saddle adjustment from time to time on my Tele or Strat. Every now and then if I'm doing an outside gig in the heat, I may need to play with the action real quick to get rid of a buzz...
Plus Leathermen are proven and they don't look out of place on your belt at other times day and night!
