I saw one very similar to that one, only in sunburst, at a show this last weekend. The dealer insisted it was the real deal
even though it didn't say Telecaster Custom on the headstock, just Telecaster, like the one you posted about. From about the same era also, so maybe there was a time that Fender didn't put the word Custom on the headstock??? Anyway, the guitar I saw was is much better shape than the one you linked to and was way cheaper also...
