Dacious....you 're probably right. I was in high school when I got it, and wasn't paying attention to the stuff I do today. I always thought it was a '71, since I got it in '71, bit when I had some restoration work done on it, the luthier told me the neck is dated '70. I just don't recall it was ever as light as the Oly White Strat ealrier in the thread.
It's also been in the case for the better part of the past 3 decades. Sorry for the bad photo - my camera's not been cooperating lately.
