I don't know what's going on... I bought another Bullet Strat, this time in SB, and the truss rod nut is perfect. The Strat even came with a chrome plated allen wrench (!). I'm about a week out from dismantling the SB so I can get started on the mods; I'll refinish the neck like I did on the daphne blue Bullet, replace the nut and saddles with a GraphTech nut and saddles, and this time I'm going with a tortoise shell pickguard and a pair of nickel humbuckers. Maybe a few other tweeks along the way too. I'll post photos when she's done.
