I guess I hang out with a lot of old Deadheads. It really did cause a minor sensation when it came out, though - I think that and Will the Circle Be Unbroken (another supergroup album, why didn't I think of it!) turned more city and suburb kids into bluegrass freaks than any other 'sixties-'seventies recordings.
