I'm listening to his music (on his myspace) as I write this.
I like his style and I like almost all of his favorites and influences, and Phillip Moore is obviously a great picker, and I'm sure thankful there are still artists keeping the outlaw tradition alive

On the other hand, I've never seen a "clean" outlaw - they were always dirty, sweatty, dusty and raggy and sounded like they had too many whiskeys and cigarettes

This guy both sounds and looks very clean, and the whole production is real smooth, without any sharp corners, and it makes me wonder if Ray is really an outlaw after all

.....
Still I prefer him to most of todays "pop" country though
