I put DiMarzio TwangKings in my MIJ 52RI, as I liked the sound of the original pups, but wanted a little more oomph everywhere. They do the trick for me.
I like the SD P90's for that extra snarl.
Strat pups.... not really qualified for that one.
HB's.... as above, but I played a Gatton sig with Bardens quite a few years back, and loved 'em. Maybe later...
