he can't play electric guitar either, it's a joke really. I know. I saw him in the 80s live from front row seats when he had that stage with the giant amps as props.
he's a "harmonica with acoustic guitar" act
He did a 3 album hits package in the late 70s......that's where he peaked.....and that album was good.
and of course I will NEVER forgive him for recording Southern Man. If he wouldn't have done that we woud not have to be subjected to the functional illiterate abysmal no talent meanderings of my least favorite song ( Sweet Home Alabama ) performed by my least favorite band ( Lynyrnd Skynyrd ).....an embarassment to United States history of recorded music.
So I'll never forgive Neil for that.
He was a pioneer with CSN &Y. And sadly he really released alot of dreck.
Okay I was only joking about Southern Man, but it's true. No Sounhern man-no Sweet Home Alabama
Aren't you glad he doesn't play a telecaster?

LOL! As if he could have known! Ironically, Southern Man is a seriously well-intentioned social commentary that's irrelevant to its classic rock consequences. The South was a racial disaster when he wrote that, and I don't think the prevalence of "turn it up" on 70s classic rock radio was anywhere in his mind.
In fact, I always thought that his song "Alabama" was more the catalyst for Sweet Home.
