I agree. I have an Orange Tiny Terror with matching PPC112 cab, which is great, but I also still use my old JC-55, that I've loaded with Eminence Alpha-8s. It's a more practical amp than the Tiny Terror for gigging.
BTW, have you tried the "trick" to get a really honking tone out of the JC? What you do is lower bass and treble pots to 0 or 1 and use the mids pot as a tone. Works a treat.
