The best compliment - a guy who is a player and (semi-successful songwriter) listened to me sing one night and watching his face he obviously enjoyed the song. When I finished it he said That was really good I'm trying to figure out who wrote it." (I did!)
The worst, I was talking to my wife about wanting to play in a band and she blurts out - "What are you, some sort of Rock and Roll Wannabe?" Soon after that she became my ex-wife...
