FWIW, a late 50's sunburst, from '58 on would be a 3-color sunburst, and the rosewood fingerboard was introduced in '59 so Fender would probably never have made a guitar that looked like that originally. Could it be a CS guitar that someone simply ordered that way because they liked that particular combination of elements?
