I've owned an "aged" cherry burst with the maple neck for 4 years now. I still love it! A minor step up in fit and finish over the standards and a big step up in fit and finish over the MIM's.

As far as "aged" goes, that only applies to the pick guard which is an "aged" creamy white rather than a bright white.
