i called a friend who went to one in malibu and sometimes a family would go but there may be someone in the family that wasn't so keen on it .. stupid family outings :)
so that nervous, first time nude person, may get intimidated by anyone wearing clothing in the vicinity and think, "hey, why can't i wear clothing, too?" or a person with clothes in the colony only makes it apparent how naked you really are, not being used to the idea yet if it's ones first time
