Get a copy of the "RCA Receiving Tube Manual", and study the "Installation" section. Also, for the ground bus I always used a length of stripped # 12 AWG solid copper wire, run lengthwise from left to right in the chassis, isolated and supported on standoffs. You can make nifty twisted pair wiring by putting two lengths of # 20 AWG wire in the chuck of a drill motor and slowly turning it.
Have fun, it gets easier the more of this work you do.
