I've installed underbridge units before. Most take a small, tiny hole under the saddle and a slightly larger hole reamed for the strap-button/jack.
If you're carefull, it's no big deal.
Now if this is a vintage Martin - heck no!
Otherwise, some Martins come with pickups factory installed.
