I still think Roy's work on the live OKIE FROM MUSKOGEE album is the best live tele tone I have ever heard. Listen to his solo on No HardTime Blues. Still gives me goosebumps.
Any of course, James is still "James"....there will never be another like him. Im proud to have worked alongside of him on many dates inthe 70's.
