I've been using WebStrings Light-Heavy 10-52 strings for the last several years. There may be better strings. There may not be. I don't know. These work for me. I tend to change them FREQUENTLY.
This guitar, like most of mine, has Glendale Wide-Intone Twang saddles. The E-A saddle has a slightly higher angle to compensate for the increased thickness of the E-A strings on the heavy end of the light-heavy combination.
By golly, here's the finished thing with a matching strap.
