So there is my new dilema...the 212 or 410...one sounds best clean and the other dirty...UGHHH it never ends does it!

I've never had that dilemma because I think a clean sound is only meant for acoustic guitars. But I know what you mean about the 212. When I play my Les Paul through it, it definitely goes straight to Led Zepplin territory, no pedals. Most Fender amps won't do that. And when I feel the need for the power that the Deville pushes, I want the bigger bass response of the 212s. 410s is better for rockabilly and country, but I don't play that stuff, just ripping chordal rock, which is why I can't use non-mv Fender amps- I can never turn them up loud enough to get the amount of crunch I need and they tend to be too trebley for me.
