Many folks prefer the 2x12 combo over the 4x10. If you don't need the extra power the HRDeville offers you can replace the 6L6's with 6v6's and adjust the bias (simple operation on those amps). That drops output to approx. 30 watts and transforms the amp. I've read great reviews on the retubed version.
