While David Archuletta may be the best "pure" singer of the bunch, he's not an artist and he's about as interesting as watching paint dry. Once you've heard one performance, all the rest sound exactly the same. I can't imagine a whole CD of his performances. I dunno. He's technically perfect, but for me, he's also boring for the most part. Send him to musicals. He will do well there. I liked him at first, but I soon grew very tired of his act.
Syesha belongs in musicals. She's perfect for that stuff. She's not an artist either, in terms of current music, though she's very, very good. She doesn't seem to fit into the current mainstream and I don't think she'd sell records.
Jason? Pleasant and totally forgettable--unless he connects with some material that has sone cajones. He hasn't done that yet, so I expect he will be gone soon.
Brooke White--well, she's gone, but if I were a producer, I'd like to hear her original songs. If they were good, I'd take a chance on producing a record with her. She's not the technical singer that the others are, but she has an honesty and vulnerability that I think could work for her. She isn't meant to be singing Neil Diamond covers, that's for sure.
David Cook, out of all of them, is the only person with any artistic vision that works with the present market. He's the only new millenium artist of the bunch--everybody else is stuck in the 70's. He's not as good, as far as "pure" singers go, as David A, but he communicates much better and is able to make songs interesting. His song selections and what he's done with them is far superior to any of the others, IMO. He has the ability to make a song relevant and interesting, which is why he should win.
I expect David A to win, but I think he will go nowhere commercially. David C can sell records and be an artist. Now its just a matter of seeing how America votes and thats a process that I don't have a lot of faith in, frankly. I guess we will know soon enough.

People will most definitely come."
