I like the bridge and middle position. I normally wire the 3rd position as neck in series with bridge (for a hum-bucler like tone) but I guess you can't do that with these active piclups...Not too crazy about the neck only position. Try the 60a. It is a mini-humbucker in a regular humbucker housing, but alnico magnets instead of the ceramics of the regular 60. It got very good reviews on HC, and it is the neck pu on the Schecter Hellraiser Tempest model, if your happened to bump into one in a guitarstore.
I really like the 85 too in the neck position, but it is an overkill in the bass dept. for some.
